Best Linux version for web dev student

Hello I've just become a member and am working on my web development skills after being a freelance Wordpress designer for a number of years. It seems along with much of what is taught here that knowing Linux is helpful for a web developer. I have an old Dell Inspiron 15 laptop from about 10 years ago which still works well. I was wondering if anyone might have a recommendation for a good Linux distribution to put on it that would be good for learning and playing around with things related to web development and would be able to run on an older laptop. Thanks

Hi, well I'm not 100% sure which is best, but for older and not as great systems http://lubuntu.net/ should be able to run easier according to the website. I hope this helped you.
