1,687 PointsHI, was having same problem but I finally solved it
def add(a,b):
try:
int(float(a)+float(b))
except ValueError:
return(None)
else:
return(float(a)+float(b))

433 Pointsok thank you this worked i believe what i did wrong was i needed an extra indentation after try ,except and else i had the indentation in the blocks but all lined up.
