does not have an attribute username
. The fix is to add @login_required
to the view, or wrap the code in if current_user.is_authenticated
.
Edit: updated for decorator ordering
See flask docs:
When using @login_required
remember to apply it as innermost decorator to a view function. When applying further decorators, always remember that the route() decorator is the outermost:
@app.route('/secret_page')
@login_required
def secret_page():
pass

20,315 PointsI do have login_required... that's why I'm so confused...

Treehouse Moderator 68,454 PointsCan you post your views / app.py?

Treehouse Moderator 68,454 PointsPrevious answer updated. Decorator order matters.
