HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Build the Footer

At what point, should I expect to be able to write all the html from scratch..or am I panicking too early?

I am only up to the section with the footer, understanding all the concepts as I follow along, take notes, follow along in the workspace etc.

I am however not able to remember all the material to the point where I can rewrite the code without looking at my notes. Is this normal and expected or should I be able to write the html by scratch by now? If not now, when is a good time to be expecting to be able to do that.

I am pretty positive, I am expecting too much from myself, but I want to make sure I am at the level I should be

Hi, one of the great things about writing code is the practically infinite number of resources for reference. Being "fluent" in writing code may come with a lot of experience but I definitely wouldn't worry about remembering every single tag, etc. The most important thing is understanding the basic syntax and format, and knowing how to find solutions to your specific projects. For example, if you came to a point in a project where you couldn't remember how to build a footer, simply "google it" and you'll almost instantly find the information you need.

i will start to learn html in this late octomber on youtube . where i am facing same problem as you are but i will keep practice in my free time so my mind digest all basic syntax of html and now i am not facing any problem to write all HTML code from scratch...keep practice what you learn !
