Assigning values to True or False doesn't seem to work in my script

Why doesn't this code work when I submit it?

store_open = None store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]

time=21 if time in store_hours: store_open=True else: store_open=False

Your code is just fine! The problem here is that they're going to test different values to see if you return what they're expecting. But every time they send a value you're overwriting it with this line:

time=21

Just erase that line and you should be good to go!
