Python Development Techdegree Student 1,362 PointsAssertionError: None != 'Hello Ashley'
Still getting an error even though the output seems to be correct.
"Bummer: AssertionError: None != 'Hello Ashley' : Whoops, it looks like the string returned from your function is incorrect. Double check spelling and make sure there is a space between words in the returned string."
def hello_student(name):
print('Hello {}'.format(name))
hello_student('Ashley')

Treehouse Moderator 68,441 PointsHey Eric Agana, remember to return
an object from the function. Not print
.
If no return
statement present, then it is assumed to be return None
. Which is the None
value in the assertion.
Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!

Python Development Techdegree Student 1,362 PointsThanks Chris Freeman . It worked after carefully reading the requirement many times. I am required only to return "one value".
