JavaScript DOM Scripting By Example Adding and Removing Names Removing Names

I understand what he's doing but the pace seems much quicker than previous videos and lessons. Any tips on how to bounce back from feeling defeated?

What helped me for this section was to draw out each line of code on a piece of paper as if i was drawing the parts of the web page. It sounds crazy, but it worked because it allowed me to visualize each line as a building block, and it helped me see the process of creating the different sections and "putting them together" like Legos.
