are we allowed to ask non treehouse related questions about coding?

Hello moderaters,

Next to following the java teamtreehouse course, I'm also reading a Java book and working on my own code. I was wondering if it is allowed to ask/share questions, concerns and idea's here which are not related to a treehouse course specifically.

I'm not a moderator (as of this writing), but as far as I know there's no requirement that questions must be specific to a course. I've seen (and answered) several unrelated questions posted from time to time. I'm also not a Java developer, but I'm sure if your question intrigues some that are they will be happy to help.

Be sure to post coding-specific questions in the appropriate topic area for the best chance of a fast answer.

Steven's advice rings true. Please feel free to talk all things code here! It's great for the community to have additional dialogue. Thanks for asking, Hoessein!
