Are we renaming the silver.txt file name to silver.html or replacing it with our silver.html file?

Treehouse TeacherNot sure I fully understand the question. I believe that on the back end, Git does treat git mv silver.txt silver.html
as the deletion of silver.txt
and the addition of silver.html
. But that detail is completely hidden from users (and might not even be true anymore as of recent versions, I'm not sure). So it's probably best to think of it as simply moving the file from one name to another.
