appropiate alt attribute

I have inserted the same alt attribute that I use following along with the video. It does not appear to work in the challenge. is there a different alt text I should be using

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>
      <ul>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
      </ul>
    </section>
    <footer>
      <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt"Twitter logo">
      <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt"Facebook logo">
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

I am trying to make itpast this challenge and it keeps telling me that I have to add in the alt text I have and it keeps telling that I have not. is there something else I am supposed to do?
