General Discussion

Anyone else use treehouse in Chrome and have issues with the code engine?

I'm using Chrome to do some treehouse work. Specifically a JavaScript course and while I'm working on the code challenges, in the middle of me typing the screen like adjusts and messes everything up. But if I minimize the screen it fixes the issue for a few seconds until I start typing again. I can also keep typing the code and then the screen goes back to normal. Just wanted to see if anyone else is having an issue like this? If so, how did you fix it? Did you use another browser or disable/enable anything?

Thanks, Mike

Hi Michael! Yes, I've also experienced this, but under very specific circumstances. I can tell you that Support has been notified about this and is undoubtedly working on it

But here are some of my observations. It only happens during coding challenges. And it only happens in Chrome (as far as I can tell). I've tried Chrome (both on Windows 10 and Mac), Firefox, and Safari. That being said, it doesn't happen in all versions of Chrome. Specifically, Chrome on my Mac doesn't exhibit this behavior while Chrome on my Windows 10 system does. I have (for the time being) done my code challenges in Firefox as an alternative. I have not experienced the same behavior there.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:
