Any Treehouse Students In Bangalore, India? (Looking for a learning partner IRL)

Hello there. I am making this thread for those of us who are interested in in-person meetups. Feel free to share this thread amongst your friends if you live in the city.

I've been reading a lot more since I started coding and one of the things that stuck out was how in-person meetups can boost learning and productivity along with project collaborations in real life.

So, I am devoting this thread to the those of us who live in Bangalore, India.

Rules:

-You must be a Treehouse student (like me, LOL)

-Meetups can be at a safe place, preferably in a public library (like the British Public Library in MG Road) where laptops are allowed.

-State your goals (that's the point of a meetup, helping each other and also assist in filling up knowledge gaps) , where you currently are in your track, what's your current skill level, etc.

-No foul language (sorry it's a no-brainer lol. Some of us get offended so conversations need to be friendly, relevant, not very off-topic and casual)

-No discussing emotional issues/personal life issues

(we all have issues and discussing them takes the fun out of learning and instills negativity. I know very well about this since coding in high school (very basic/beginner oriented) [in my exp.] used to be a very negative exp. due to the classroom environment and mental attitude towards learning in most students)

Issues at least ease out or melt away anything at the back of your mind when we engage ourselves in learning, have fun and enjoy the process and that's how it should be.)

-Relax, learn, build cool stuff with code and have fun :)

We can meetup twice or thrice a month. It breaks the ice as well where learning alone is concerned (especially for those of us who aren't being mentored by anyone in-person IRL). Plus it will be more convenient since some of us may not like socializing that much.

What do you guys think?

Ah, and also, if you guys have any references to in-person meetups for coders in the city, feel free to share them. :)

Note: Please don't meetup if you're looking for a casual chat or for passing the time. We are meeting up to help each other, not hang-out without any purpose and while away the time doing irrelevant things. Because Batman doesn't while away the time. He hangs out with the Justice League and helps em' out and becomes cooler. O:)

My Coding Stats-

Level: 0.5 Currently On: Front End Web Development Track (TechDegree) Age/Gender: Irrelevant. I don't care about yours either as long as I get to share info as well as learn stuff from you

Goals: -Learn Front End Web Development (Currently learning) -Learn Back End Web Development -Learn to make apps and games with code (not specific yet)

Goal Of My Meetup:

-I want to learn more about the Web Development Industry in Bangalore and I think meeting up with someone who is currently working in the industry is a great way to get to know more. -Looking for someone who is working presently in the industry and experienced and has worked in some real life projects

Is the meetup mutual? No. Like I said, I am currently learning so I am digging for info. I'm not skilled enough (yet) to critique you however despite knowing this if you still want to help out, I will appreciate it a lot.

If you're not comfortable with meetups, we can Skype or keep in touch online as well. No sharing phone numbers though and I am willing to communicate via email online.

If you are currently learning (just like me) and need a friend to learn along with you, then I am willing to meetup as well. Group learning does not sound so bad.
