Any good java books out there for someone totally new to the language?

I've been with the tree house community for almost 3 months now and have been able to pick up on the basics for html/css and it has been a great foundation on getting use to writing code but it is starting to look like it may be time to start picking up on java in order to move forward with what i'm really interested in... app development.

I recently started with the java basics course but am finding it a little more complex than the previous courses and would like to find a good book for beginners to study and use for a reference while learning as this feels like where I should be and am looking to see if anybody knows of any good books out there that can help get started.

Thanks.

I thought the book 'Java for Everyone' was pretty good for starting out.
