Databases Reporting with SQL Date and Time Functions Today's Report

Am I using the count function correctly here?

This one is really tatering my tots.

Without seeing the code you're trying its a bit difficult for me to answer. But I'll try to walk you through what you'll need rather than just give you the query! :-)

The query you need is quite a lengthy one.

  • You need the orders table.
  • Select a count() from every field in the table
  • Of records that match records with the value of shipped. (So you'll need to work with the WHERE clause)
  • That have today's date. There's a dynamic method you can use to get today's value
