5,131 PointsAm I being stupid, or missing something totally obvious.. this code works fine in my actual project...
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) { h1 { font-size:2.5em; } }
It says I'm not changing the font size to 2.5em for h1 elements..
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
h1 {
font-size:2.5em;
}
}
a {
text-decoration: none;
}
#wrapper {
max-width: 940px;
margin: 0 auto;
}
#logo {
text-align: center;
margin: 0;
}
h1, h2 {
color: #fff;
}
nav a {
color: #fff;
}
nav a:hover {
color: #32673f;
}
h1 {
font-family: Changa One, sans-serif;
font-size: 1.75em;
font-weight: normal;
}
img {
max-width: 100%;
}
#gallery {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
list-style: none;
}
#gallery li {
float: left;
width: 45%;
margin: 2.5%;
background-color: #f5f5f5;

}
nav ul {

}
.profile-photo {
display: block;
margin: 0 auto 30px;
max-width: 150px;
border-radius: 100%;
}
.contact-info {
list-style: none;

}

11,368 PointsHi Michael! Remember CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets ...which means everything that comes after something you declare, would override what you declared previously... so your media queries should be at the bottom of the style page in order to work properly...at least that's what I think!
Cheers!

6,264 PointsYeah, I'd agree with Julian. Since the h1 tag you are talking about is at the very top of the page, that means any other h1 declarations you have after it will override it. For example, I noticed that part way down the page, you have h1 { font-size: 1.75em;}, and since no other h1 declarations are after it, currently all of your h1s will be 1.75em. Just put your media query below this and you should be fine.
