3 1/2 years ago I didnt even know what a function was, and it took me over a year for objects to click. I have done much learning over the years, but my comprehension began to speed up when I began experimenting. Do check out codewars.com, and attack some challenges once week or more, if you have time. Remember, programmers are just professional googlers--we often approach problems not knowing the first step or global solution, but we know how to pull in resources, documentation, and examples.
I'm not sure what language your interested in, but freecodecamp has an thorough playlist on data structures in JavaScript: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj5qBheGOEo&list=PLWKjhJtqVAbkso-IbgiiP48n-O-JQA9PJ

20,364 PointsHi Tai,
We're all in the same boat... but just with different destinations :)
I know nothing about what you're learning, because I'm on a different path, but I know what you're talking about, I'm oftentimes in that position with other stuff.
The important thing is do give yourself time, and try to watch again the videos, google for your specific doubts, ask specific questions in this community forum, etc. And, certainly, do a project (about something you are passionate about) in the language you're studying, like Abraham wisely suggested.
And most importantly, too, you must watch this new and awesome video about the perks of having the right attitude toward learning, every single word is so true... you will remember this day and laugh about it (like I do often!) :)
