after working on material do I save it to in order to start again at a later date? If so, how do I save?

do i save after finished working for the day in the middle of a lession?

You should save your Workspaces session. Just click File in the top menu for Workspaces and scroll down to click Save.

Your lesson progress is automatically saved- however, if you haven't completed a lesson or test, it won't save your progress in the middle- though for videos you can just skip forward to where you left off.
