Sorry there isn't really a perfect spot for this as there is no AI forum section. I have been going through the course fine, but there is one problem.
In the grouping objects & group selection lesson at the end he uses the Group Selection Tool. I have been trying to use this and it doesn't do what it does in the video. When I mouse over a path using the tool, the path lines show up but when I click nothing happens...
Any idea what this tool doesn't seem to work?

17,225 PointsThat was my guess so put it here. Thanks. Does Mat Helme check the forums?

Treehouse Guest Teacher@Angus Whiston ,
It honestly sounds like an Illustrator error. The colors don't have anything to do with it.

Treehouse Guest TeacherHey Angus Whiston ,
What version of Illustrator are you using? How many groups of objects are in your file?

17,225 PointsHi I'm using AI CC. It is a trial though, not sure what affect that has. Edit: Made a new document with 1 layer and the group selection tool worked fine. Is it to do with multiple layers?
The only thing I've noticed, and this is going to sound stupid, but on your layers panel your sketch has a blue rectangle after the lock icon, then all your remaining layers have red rectangles. In my document they're all red, I assume this is just colour coding layers similar to PS and not anything that changes working on them?
