Android Android Fragments Introducing Fragments Adding a Fragment

2/2 adding fragments acitivity I can't see where I am wrong. Help

Now create a new instance of this Fragment in MainActivity, and then add it to MainActivity's layout by using the placeholder ViewGroup (R.id.placeholder).

NewsFragment.java
public class NewsFragment extends Fragment {
    @Override
    public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
      View view = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_news, container, false);

        return view;
    }
}
MainActivity.java
