You haven't added any `'change'` event handlers with the `addEventListener()` method.

Do I have a syntax error or am I missing a line of code before my eventlistenrs?

Remove the equals signs from your Eventlisteners. You currently have navigationSelect.addEventListener = ("change", navigateToValue); and it should be navigationSelect.addEventListener("change", navigateToValue);
