curious to know why did this work within the console ++, which I thought would just add to the program for example : while (!isFullyCharged) { wouldn't this mean whatever the mBarsCount++; } mBarsCount is times 2, but its value is 0zero.
public class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
private String mColor;
private int mBarsCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
mColor = color;
mBarsCount = 0;
}
public String getColor() {
return mColor;
}
public void charge() {
mBarsCount = MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return mBarsCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
}
}

23,733 PointsmBarsCount++ increments the value of mBarsCount by one. It does not multiply it by 2. It is basically equivalent to:
mBarsCount = mBarsCount + 1;
