it is saying it isn't linked but I think it is what did i do wrong?

14,268 PointsYour < a > tags aren't wrapped around anything. You need to put the words inside them: Portfolio, About, Contact.

8,153 PointsHey pal, I noticed that your < a > tags are empty. Be sure to put your clickable content after the < a href > and before the < /a >, like this: < li>< a href="index.html">Portfolio</ a>< /li>
