3,015 Points$ not working in Treehouse console
I can't type $ in the treehouse console (or any other chars using ALTGR). I'm on Windows 10 using chrome and a Danish keyboard. Is there a way to setup the charset, or another way to fix this?

35,800 PointsThis isn't a Treehouse issue. You need to escape the dollar sign. If it works in WIndows, that wouldn't surpise me as there stuff isn't standard. $ signs need to be escaped to work in Unix.
If you had a file named
money$.txt
Then you would have to escape it like this:
cat money\$.txt
or you can escape it like this with single quotes on both sides.
cat money'$'.txt
the cat command simply concatenates files and prints them. ( basically just views files ). The cat command is irrelevant but what matters is that slash goes before the dollar sign. You can also try single quotes on both sides.
Cheers
