I'm Ryan Mouser, the Content & Community Marketing Specialist here at Treehouse. My pronouns are he/him. I was 15 years old when I started learning to code in PHP for a popular text-based MMORPG game. I've been with Treehouse for over 2 years now and have had the amazing opportunity to wear many different hats. I've been learning with Treehouse since 2015 (you can check out my previous profile here).
Currently, I'm working alongside our world-class team on some exciting opportunities to bring the Treehouse Community closer together. Stay tuned! š
Outside of Treehouse, I have the joy of living life with my incredible wife, our 3 awesome kids, and our 2 cat furbabies. We love to make music, garden, cook, play games, and watch fun TV.

I started learning html when I was 17 while recovering from hip surgery because I couldn't go to school and wanted something to do! I used treehouse back then in 2013 too! I definitely take breaks while coding/learning because otherwise my brain completely stops working. I try to do something like 40 min on 20 min off, or if motivation is low, 30 min on 30 min off for a few hours. Whatever it takes to get through content!
My current project is a website for my dad's business, but its not worth sharing yet as I'm still learning CSS.

Outside of learning with treehouse I am a scientist and I work on COVID vaccines, I play a lot of World of Warcraft, and I have two amazing cats that my boyfriend and I adopted last year. BTS is the only music I listen to these days and I love watching anime.
