Intent intent = getIntent(); mFuelLevel = intent.getStringExtra("FUEL_LEVEL"); I tested the above code in Android studio and it works. I just cannot find out what went wrong when answering the quiz.
import android.os.Bundle;
public class FlightActivity extends Activity {
public int mFuelLevel = 0;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_flight);
// Add your code below!
Intent intent = getIntent();
mFuelLevel = intent.getStringExtra("FUEL_LEVEL");
}
}

mFuelLevel is an int value and the FUEL_LEVEL was stored as an int extra so instead of getStringExtra, you would want to use getIntExtra. Don't forget to also pass in the default value in addition to the key.
