<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
$role = 'subscriber';
}
//change to switch statement
$role = 'admin';
switch ($role) {
case "admin":
echo "As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.";
break;
default:
echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
break;
}

28,558 PointsThe problem is this line:
$role = 'admin';
The challenge never states that you should change what the role variable holds, it asks you to add a switch statement, and that is all you are meant to do. Removing that line will allow you to pass the task since the switch statement itself is correct.
