755 PointsA little confused. Am I declaring a new string outside of the do block and the using the console.printf to print it?
Do I declare and new string outside the block?
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
do {
response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
} while(response.equalsIgnoreCase("no"));

Your code works fine for me. You just need the last task which is to produce some output using printf
:
String response;
do {
response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
} while(response.equalsIgnoreCase("no"));
console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response);
