Graphics that are composed of pixels are known as raster graphics. However, an SVG is a series of interconnected points called vectors. These points and lines form shapes that are automatically projected into the pixel grid of a computer screen. The end result is a graphic that has infinite resolution, regardless of how the image is resized.
